This is a two-channel instrument running TopSpin 3 equipped with
- a dedicated 5 mm BB-F/1H Prodigy N2 cryoprobe optimised for multinuclear observation
- a 24-position SampleCase robot
The probe has zero fluorine background so is well suited to studies of fluorinated ligands and proteins.
The instrument is used for projects supporting biomedical research at the chemistry–biology interface. It was funded from new by the Wellcome Trust.
This instrument is nicknamed the AV600 although the formal model name is an AVIII HD 600 and should be listed as such in any publication.
